(CBS/AP)  Paparazzi have caught Britney Spears doing something else with her baby that's upsetting people.

Front-page photos in both the New York Post and Daily News show Spears driving her convertible Mini-Cooper with her 8-month-old son, Sean Preston, in the back seat — sitting in a baby seat facing foreward. Child safety advocates prefer that kids less than a year old sit in car seats facing backward.

California officials say Spears won't be cited.

Each paper had similar headlines playing on the Spears' song "Oops, I Did It Again." Regis Philbin said on "Live With Regis and Kelly" that he thought it was a coincidence to have similar headlines. Co-host Kelly Ripa had to explain to him that it was the title of a Spears song.

One other thing about the photos: They show Spears driving with curlers in her hair.

Just last week, Spears admitted to David Letterman that she is pregnant with a second child. Watch the video.

Last month, child welfare officials and a sheriff's deputy visited Spears' home because her infant son was accidentally dropped from a high chair, according to published reports.

Sean Preston fell April 1 as his nanny was lifting him from the high chair and something in the chair snapped, Star magazine reported. The infant slipped from her arms and fell, bruising his head on the floor, the magazine said.

In February, DCFS officials visited Spears' home after publication of photographs showing the 24-year-old singer driving with then 4-month-old Sean Preston in her lap, rather than in a car seat as required by law.
