(CBS)  What do Kevin Bacon, Rosie O'Donnell and Liza Minnelli have in common? They're all fans of the off-Broadway play Altar Boyz. The award-winning musical is a satire about a fictitious Christian boy band on the final night of its Raise the Praise tour.

The members of the Altar Boyz are the teen idol Matthew, the sensitive Mark, bad-boy Luke, ladies-man Juan and Abraham – the Jewish boy who's not exactly sure how he ended up in the band (but his mother would sure like to know.)

The score of "Altar Boyz" mixes a classic boy-band sensibility with family values in lyrics like "Jesus called me on my cell phone/No roaming charges were incurred."

A community of devoted fans has developed around the play. They call themselves Altarholics and hang out on their officially sanctioned Web site, altarholics.com.

"Altar Boyz" won the 2005 Outer Critics Circle Award for Best Off-Broadway Musical. The soundtrack performed by the original 2005 Off-Broadway cast is available on Ghostlight Records.

The show will begin a 30-week national tour in October and the show has just opened in Seoul, Korea.

The cast of "Altar Boyz" visit the Second Cup Café to sing some of the show's hit songs.
