David Evangelista
(CBS)
David Evangelista has been a lifestyle contributor to The Early Show since 2002. He is one of the nation's leading hair stylists and is a respected television personality who appears weekly on The Early Show. He recently started the David Evangelista Salon at Cornelia Day Resort in New York City. In 2005, CBS cast Evangelista as its lifestyle expert judge on the LMNO-produced reality series, "Wickedly Perfect."
Evangelista received five Emmy nominations for his work as a hairstylist for "The Rosie O'Donnell Show" where, for six years, he served as Ms. O'Donnell's personal hair stylist and a contributing on-air personality, creating the popular "Makeover Monday" segments. He worked with high-profile personalities including Mandy Moore, Rita Wilson, Martha Stewart, Steve Martin, Kevin Kline, Mary Steenburgen and Ted Danson.
He has also lent his expertise to syndicated daytime shows. At "Living It Up with Ali and Jack" for Kingworld, Evangelista was the "in-house" beauty/style guru, appearing on the program weekly. For Sony's syndicated "Life and Style," he served as the man-about-town, conducting style makeovers, providing event coverage, special celebrity interviews and, occasionally, serving as guest host.
Evangelista's other television credits include MTV's "Mission Makeover" and "Total Request Live," A&E's "Ultimate Holidaytown USA," the Style Network's "Style Court," the Style Network red carpet specials such as The Academy Awards, The Golden Globes, and The Primetime Emmys, VH1's "Best Red Carpet Moments," "Retrosexual Special" and "Best Red Carpet Moments of 2005," and "Day to Day with Rachael Ray."
