Wife: Charlie Sheen No Dreamboat
(CBS/AP)
In court papers, actress Denise Richards claims Charlie Sheen popped pills, gambled and surfed the Web for porn sites during their marriage. She also said Sheen threatened to kill her if she made his behavior public.
As a result, a judge has ordered Sheen to stay at least 300 feet away from Richards and their two young daughters.
Sheen denied his wife's charges in an interview with "Entertainment Tonight": "I'm deeply saddened because this is clearly demonstrating a wanting and willful attempt at what I describe as a radical and transparent smear campaign and, clearly, a departure from sound, sane, responsible co-parenting."
The judge's order stipulates that the only time Sheen can see his girls is during supervised visits. The temporary restraining order also says Sheen must also stay away from Richards' home and car.
The judge is granting Sheen visits with the daughters once a week. One girl is two, the other is 10 months old. The judge also granted Sheen's request that he and Richards be allowed to record telephone conversations with each other.
Richards filed for divorce in March 2005 after three years of marriage, citing irreconcilable differences.
The couple married in June 2002 and co-starred in "Scary Movie 3." Richards and Sheen, 39, met while shooting the independent film "Good Advice" in 2000.
They began dating after Richards guest-starred on Sheen's former series "Spin City." The marriage was Sheen's second and Richards' first.
Sheen, whose father is "West Wing" star Martin Sheen, is currently starring in the CBS sitcom "Two and a Half Men." His other credits include the TV series "Spin City" and the movies "Platoon," "Ferris Bueller's Day Off" and "Hot Shots."
Richards, a former Bond girl, has appeared in a host of movies, including "Wild Things" and "Starship Troopers."
