'Caught On Tape' Best Of 2005
(CBS)
CBSNews.com's Nicola Menzie pulls together her favorite "Caught On Tape" moments from 2005.
The year is almost over, and what a year it's been: Fist fights in church, animals on the loose and courtroom clashes. Yes, it's the sometimes shocking and often amusing "Caught On Tape."
To officially wrap up 2005 and ring in the new year, "Caught On Tape" is taking a look at 10 of the best (and worst) videos. Some of them will make you squirm, others will have you in stitches and others will simply have you shaking your head in astonishment.
Without any further delay, the top 10 "Caught On Tape" videos of 2005:
Mom, Baby Survive Train Scare: In South Korea, a subway train dragged a woman as she was boarding the train with her baby. The doors closed on the carriage. Fortunately, neither the mother nor the baby were hurt. The hair-raising possibility that this story could've ended tragically is what makes it the top "Caught On Tape" video of 2005.

DEA Agent Shoots Himself: A video surfaced on the Internet showing a DEA agent accidentally shooting himself while giving a gun safety lecture to a group of Orlando students. The accidental shooting is shocking enough, but it's what happens after the accident that puts this video near the top. Normally, seeing someone shoot himself might evoke a response other than laughter but, thankfully, that isn't the case with this video.

Pastor Punched During Service: Well-known Oklahoma pastor Billy Joe Daugherty was attacked by Steven Rogers on Nov. 20 while giving the altar call at his church, Victory Christian Center. Daugherty gives a blow-by-blow account of the incident, and it isn't pretty.

Would-Be Crooks Fail Miserably (No Audio): Two would-be robbers came unstuck when they tried to smash their way through a security screen at a betting shop in Manchester, England. They were persistent, but lacking in execution. If "Caught On Tape" had a Dumbest Criminals of the Year award, these blokes would win hands down.

Kangaroo Caught In Wisconsin: A runaway kangaroo was captured in Dodgeville, Wis., as a team of firefighters and police were able to coax the animal out of the cold. WISC correspondent Joel DeSpain reports on this oddly amusing tale.

Vicious Pizza Parlor Beating (No Audio): A man was convicted of felonious assault for a brutal beating in an Akron, Ohio, pizza parlor last July. The victim suffered a broken nose and eye socket, concussion and chipped tooth. As seen in the video, none of the half a dozen or so customers in the pizza shop attempted to put a stop to the brutal beating.

Moose Stroll Through: People in a Spokane, Wash., neighborhood got to see quite a show when two moose showed up at a park. Officers say the adult female and juvenile bull may have been looking for food.

Dispatcher's Violent Joke: When a mother called 911 to get help with controlling her brawling kids, dispatcher Mike Forbess asked her if she wanted someone to come over and shoot her unruly 12-year-old daughter. The woman wasn't too pleased.

Dancing Traffic Cop (No Audio): Drivers making their way through the clogged streets of the West Bank city of Ramallah are often surprised by Officer Raed Ismain Abu Awad, who has been using unique hand signals for 10 years. He calls it dancing, but you may call it something else. And, is he really directing traffic?
