Rules Of Engagement

By
Michael Rosellini
(CBS)  People who want to post comments on CBSNews.com are going to have to follow our rules. We know that not all forums are like that, but this one is.

There's legal language nearby. Here's the plain English: no libel, slander, no lying, no fabricating, no swearing at all, no words that teenagers use a lot that some people think aren't swearing but we do, no insulting groups or individuals, no ethnic slurs and/or epithets, no religious bigotry, no threats of any kind, no bathroom humor, no comparing anyone to Hitler, Stalin or Pol Pot. We expect heated, robust debate, but comments should be polite and civil. We consider this to be public space so behave and write accordingly.

Yes, what is not allowable is subjective. CBSNews.com absolutely reserve the right to remove posts we think break any of the rules or the spirit of the rules and we reserve the right to ban individuals from commenting. We will use language filtering programs to block certain words and we will use human editing too.

Comments should be limited to the topic of the original posting. This is not the place for private conversations, no matter how innocent.

We require everyone who comments to register and provide a real e-mail address. No exceptions. And posting comments is not the same thing as complaining to CBS News or notifying CBS News of a problem - legally, there's a big difference.

Very important: if you see a comment that you feel is inappropriate, let us know by clicking on the "comment complaint" or "report this complaint" button.

Did anyone see the light shinning on Obama from Above. Is there a window in the roof. It's almost as if god was shining the light on him

CBS is also the 1%. And they want to control you. That's why they are so mad at Obama. Obama is stopping them from hurting average Americans and they are fuming. That's why the republicans stand 0 chance of beating Obama . Remember when bush made protesters stay a block away from an event. I love the fact Republicans are so out of touch with us. Because i really don't even get on the net anymore to argue with Republicans. They are done for a long time

Romney made 10 million in a depression. WoW. Him and newt both are the 1%. There is no way America is going to have the 1% running there lives and setting all the rules to favor them selves. That's all that needs to be said. Obama has nothing to worry about. The republicans always find a way to shoot themselves in the foot. They don't have anyone that is not ridiculously rich. They just don't get it do they

Look. Maybe it's b/c I'm Australian, I don't know - but I personally find these Rules of Engagement quite reasonable.

I know, right? Bite me.

Clearly Leslie and CBS have an agenda to make Cantor look bad. Why dont they report on the legislation that has been passed in the housed to help America and blocked in the Senate - Interview Harry Reid about that fact.

Santorum was my crazy idol. He endorsed racial profiling. Oh my God, I also am afraid of the Muslims, but I do not think it is right to endorse racial profiling. Where will he take us all

Romney did not only implied, he made clear that the US shall interfere in foreign countries affair and determine the way their people shall live their lives. Among all those morons, he seems to be the one more obtuse.

Ron Paul was a surprise, he is honest and very consistent, not afraid to tell us what he really thinks. He showed knowledge, perception and consciousness. He needs to be more outspoken.

Bachman was the BIG surprise. The girl is learning. She said the first intelligent things I saw her saying, and she was good. Now I have the hope that she can improve herself and become a better person.

I do not agree with Huntsman because he seems to underestimate Afghanistan and the terrorist organizations. He also seems to think that the rest of the world has the same ideas and values that Americans have. But for Europeans, South Americans and others, money is not all that matters to have quality of life. People think different out there, and Huntsman did not show understanding. I was very surprised, because he was a former US ambassador

Yesterday night the Republican candidates gave a show of ignorance about homeland security. It was painful to listen to them saying that we should decide on immigration matters based purely on emotion or that they would so carelessly sacrifice our human rights in the name of the war against terrorism, or that our founder fathers' heritage should be forgotten, that Afghanistan is not so important within the war against terrorism.

I do not agree with Gingrich because first, no immigrants should be living in the US illegally for 27 years, since there were at least 3 opportunity in the last 25 years for them to abide to the law and legalize themselves. The first opportunity was in 1986 the US granted amnesty to illegal immigrants who entered the United States before January 1, 1982 and had resided in the US continuously. the US also granted amnesty to certain seasonal agricultural illegal immigrants. the second opportunity was in 1994, with the section 245 i, which would allow for illegal immigrants to pay a penalty fee and adjust their status in the US. The third opportunity was in 200, when the 245 i was enacted again. Therefore if they did not legalize themselves until now, they do not deserve been legal. Second, those immigrants who got here 25 year ago brought by their parents went to American schools and met American friends. They could get integrated into the American community and get married to Americans. Or they could influence their parents to make use of the 245i. Third, kids of illegal immigrants can legalize their parents when they turn 21 years old. Fourth, an amnesty does not choose beneficiary: since few requirements are met, anyone may become legal resident. The US needs a law which will fulfill the needs of our country, not the pockets of the immigration lawyers.

a lot denser than air (1.3+0.9 = 2.2 mg/cc).the metallic lattice will be useful for us say as shock-absorber in the size of a few cubic feet only (not smaller than that). How u suppose that it can be used practically in the size of few micron thickness as a car/aeroplane part?
The technolgy u will develope will be sold to poor third word countries at an exhorbirant rates.barring a few countries like Iran, venzuela, cuba etc, all the rulers/kings are the tail spinning dogs of the USA,they will agree to purchse it.if not u will bribe or coerce them to do so.After milking them for a few years,u will sell the tech.to china ,or by then they will steal it from u.
