A Message From The Editor
(CBS)
Welcome to the new look of CBSNews.com. We've spent the better part of the year working on ways to improve our look and your user experience. We've expanded the screen size to take advantage of today's higher resolution monitors and improved our navigation to make it easier for you to find what you're looking for. We've made it easier to find our popular, content-rich interactives that take you deeper into hundreds of subjects. And we've improved the video experience. We're a leader in free broadband news video, and now we're making it even easier for you to watch high-quality news video clips. When a story has an associated video clip, you'll be able to view the clip right there on the story page — no links to external pages or pop-up players from our stories.
Many of these changes came from suggestions you sent in by e-mail or from a user survey we did. We'll be tinkering with the site and adding more features in the next few weeks. In the meantime, we'd like to know what you think of our new look. Be honest. Tell us what you like and what you think we can improve on. Click here to contact us.

P.S. — If you haven't checked out Public Eye, give it a read. It's a groundbreaking new blog — the first of its kind for a network news site — that takes an honest, open look inside journalism and inside CBS News. It's truly eye-opening.
