I came to "Public Eye" from ABC News' "Nightline," where I had been one of three researchers since September 2004. In addition to providing background research for Ted Koppel and the show's rotating group of anchors, I worked closely with "Nightline" producers and correspondents, and was responsible for all of the broadcast's factual content. During part of that period, I was also a researcher for "This Week with George Stephanopoulos." My career in journalism began in 2003 at ABC News' Washington bureau, where I was a desk assistant.

Prior to "Nightline," I was a copy editor and staff writer for online publications at the Advisory Board Company, a health care consulting firm in Washington, D.C. There, I contributed to National Journal's "American Health Line," among other daily publications related to health care policy news.

I attended Cornell University in Ithaca, N.Y., where I graduated in 2003 with a bachelor's degree in English and American studies. I was a staff writer and wrote a weekly column on national politics for the Cornell Daily Sun during my senior year.

I am originally from Tenafly, N.J., notable for its appearance in a brief scene during the recent film, "Garden State."
