Spencer was there as she was having breakfast and getting ready.

Thomas Scott said, "A bride must multi task: eating breakfast, getting hair dried." Hair is a big issue with brides.

Bur her husband Ed Scott said remembering his vows has become a big source of pre-wedding nerves. "If I mess this up, I'm in trouble."

Thomas Scott is no stranger to bridal gowns. In the 25 years she's been on "Young and the Restless," her character has been married nine times.

But it's no comparison with the real thing. Both Melody and Ed Scott have children from previous marriages, who were at their first wedding, and they have a daughter together, Liz, who was going to be this wedding's special guest. But the 16-year-old had not yet arrived from Los Angeles.
