Strange but factual tales from around the world compiled by CBSNews.com.

(CBS)  Bill and Shirley Poulos have gone so far as to make a list of their peacock problems. They include, but are not limited to, knocking out the patio screens, their feathers clogging up the air conditioning unit, not to mention the damage to the house and cars. Oh, yeah, the peacocks apparently aren’t too fond of the dog.

"They've drawn blood. They've put their claws in his back," said Shirley.

A local conservation group is now trying to help get the peacocks to move. They hope to seduce enough of them to build a peacock exhibit far away from the Poulos' home.

"We're going to try oatmeal. We're going to try bread. If that doesn't work, we'll go get dog food, peacocks love dog food,” said Jeff Harod of Vanishing Species.

"I wouldn't want to see them harmed, they're beautiful birds. There's just too many of them," offered Shirley

But don't let their looks fool you. These birds of a feather do more than flock together.
