Besides losing weight, McCarthy lost some of her girlfriends, something she describes in her book.
"It's all about how your single friends think you are now the most boring thing in the world," she says, "They couldn't care less about your kid's baby poo or those stories or the first milestone. They're thinking about what guy they want to hook up with tonight and you become the most boring person in the world to them. You start to gravitate towards women with a really cute diaper bag and those are the people who are your new friends."
Now that her baby is 3, she says she is trying to get pregnant again.

- Born in Chicago, Ill., on Nov. 1, 1972
- In 1993, made her first appearance in Playboy (Miss October). The following year she was named Playboy Playmate of the Year.
- From 1995 to 1997, she co-hosted MTV's "Singled Out" a dating game show. In 1995, played Christopher Walken's private nurse in "Things To Do in Denver When You're Dead."
- In 1996, she hosted ABC special "Extreme Comedy" and appeared in "The Stupids."
- In 1997, she had her own MTV's comedy-variety show, "The Jenny McCarthy Show" and she starred in the title role of NBC sitcom "Jenny." The following year, she starred with the creators of "South Park" in the comedy "BASEketball."
- In 1999, she played a brothel employee in "Diamonds," directed by John Asher. And in 2000, she was cast in Wes Craven's "Scream 3."
- In 2003, she starred with Pamela Anderson in the comedy "Scary Movie 3," written by Shawn Wayans and Marlon Wayans.
- Next for her is a role in the UPN comedy "The Bad Girl's Guide" based on the self-help book by Cameron Tuttle. And she stars in the indie film "Dirty Love," which also marks her feature writing debut; her husband, John Mallory Asher, directs.
- McCarthy's first book, "Belly Laughs" is about her real life experiences as a pregnant woman. It spent almost a month on The New York Times Best Seller's List.
