(CBS) In honor of Britney Spears' pregnancy, contributor Laurie Hibberd is showing The Early Show viewers some of the hottest baby gifts in Hollywood.
These are items that she knows that Britney already has, or that we know other celebrity parents own.
Among them are:
Babystyle Body Glove carrier. This carrier is used to tote the babies of Liv Tyler, Courtney Cox and Gwyneth Paltrow. It comes in different patterns and can go in the water, so it's perfect for the summer. Special features include neoprene fabric that helps regulate baby's body temperature, padded shoulder straps, a release buckle for safety, adjustable leg straps and a choice of two carrying positions: criss-cross strapping or around-the-neck.
Limited Edition Baby Outfitters Valco Stroller. This is the hot new stroller that Julia Roberts has for her new twins. It is similar to the Bugaboo Frog, in that it features an adaptable carrier you can use with the bassinet or Graco or Peg Perego car seat.
“We've been searching for months for the perfect pink and blue strollers and couldn't find them, so we had them made," Hibberd says. The company sent it to Britney, Hibberd says, but she doesn't know which color the pop star has.. Each seat cover is customized, washable and FAA Fire Proof Certified.
Svan Highchair in mahogany. From Babyoutfitters.com, it comes with infant seat and tray. It is made of real wood and grows with your child, allowing you to remove pieces as the child grows until it becomes a chair right at the table. It can hold an adult’s weight. Each piece is sold separately in mahogany, natural, cherry or whitewash finishes. Seat cushions are sold separately.
Rachel Ashwell Shabby Chic collection. This store is a favorite of Britney's already; published pictures have shown her shopping in the home furnishings emporium that's a celebrity favorite. The company makes slipcover furniture, poplin and linen bedding and accessories including organizers, diaper stackers, hooded towels, bibs and burp cloths. Celebrities who owns products from this collection include Julia Roberts, Denise Richards and Molly Shannon.
Rachel Ashwell opened the first Shabby Chic store In 1989 in Santa Monica, California. Since then she has published five books, each focusing on aspects of home design and living. In the fall of 1999, the "Rachel Ashwell Shabby Chic" show premiered on the E! Babystyle Lulu Lamb Chair. Brooke Shields owns this plush chair for her daughter, whose nursery is decorated in a lamb theme. It’s the signature item at a store that is a favorite among celebrity moms. Cindy Crawford helped start it and Gwyneth Paltrow was recently spotted shopping there.
Babystyle also has a Moses basket that Courteney Cox uses at home in lieu of a bassinet. It’s not intended for carrying the baby. Hibberd can also see Britney's baby wearing a "Rock Star" onesie from Intuition, which is a favorite celebrity store in Los Angeles.
