Tools Make Good Gifts

By
Tatiana Morales
(CBS)  The holidays are the perfect time to treat the do-it-yourselfers on your list. So Danny Lipford, the host of "Today's Homeowner," has lined up some gift ideas that are sure to be a hit.

The following suggestions range from tools for kids, to coveralls for the female do-it-yourselfer to fun items for the person that has everything.

The "Just Like Dad Tool Belt" features miniaturized versions of actual tools that fit smaller hands. These are not plastic toy tools found in retail or toy stores. The set includes a leather hammer loop, a 9-1/2-inch claw hammer, flat head screwdriver, Phillips head screwdriver, a 12-inch tape measure, a C-clamp, a wrench, a level, and mandatory safety glasses tucked inside Duluth Trading Co.'s heavy duty Little Rig. "The tools are real tools, not plastic," Lipford points out. "They allow you to really do work instead of play like you're doing work."
