'Joules' Is No 'Bridget Jones'
(CBS)
Six years ago, "Bridget Jones's Diary" became the beach book of the summer. Now, author Helen Fielding is back with a new heroine: a sexy, self-confident journalist-turned-international spy.
Fielding's first spy caper, "Olivia Joules and the Overactive Imagination" takes readers to exotic destinations as Joules searches for terrorists hiding in plain sight, among the beautiful people.
Fielding stopped by The Saturday Early Show to discuss her new book and why she created a new character for a post-9/11 world.

In a departure from the self-conscious "Bridget Jones's Diary," Fielding's Olivia Joules is drawn to the alluring Pierre Ferramo. Joules is suspicious that Ferramo is more than a wealthy playboy. She suspects he is a major terrorist bent on the Western world's destruction. Or is it all just a product of Joules's overactive imagination?
Armed with spy gear such as a wonderbra with underwiring that spews a tranquilizer stream, Joules is on a mission to find Ferramo's real intent.
Fielding is involved in writing the screenplay for the movie sequel to "Bridget Jones's Diary" - "Bridget Jones: The Edge of Reason," which again will star Renee Zellweger in the title role.
