On Friday, The Early Show Contributor Laurie Hibberd will show some DVD releases getting the chance to breath new life.
"The Days of Wine and Roses"
This 1962 movie was nominated for five academy awards including best actor and actress for Jack Lemmon and Lee Remick. The powerful drama follows a husband and wife fighting to conquer alcoholism
"Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde"
Fans get two for the price of one with "Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde." The DVD includes two versions of the good vs. evil horror classic: Fredric March won the 1932 best actor Oscar for his performance and screen legend Spencer Tracy stars in the 1941 retelling along with Ingrid Bergman and Lana Turner.
"The Postman Always Rings Twice"
Turner also steams up the screen in the 1946 film-noir classic "The Postman Always Rings Twice." She costars with John Garfeild in a tale of forbidden love and murder.
"The Wind and the Lion"
1975's "The Wind and the Lion" stars Sean Connery as an Arab sheik who triggers an international incident when he kidnaps an American widow, played by Candice Bergen, and her children.
"Where The Boys Are"
The 1960's spring break camp classic "Where the Boys Are" follows four college coeds who head to Fort Lauderdale for some fun in the sun.
"Out of Time"
If you're looking for something new, Denzel Washington's latest thriller, "Out of Time," is available next week. Also, the ultimate horror showdown, "Freddie vs. Jason," will be available.
