Pajama Party

(CBS)  With winter's chill here to stay, if you plan to ring in the new year wrapped in a cozy pair of pajamas, you should do so in style.

Creative consultant Daphne Shirley showed the latest in stylish PJs and robes on The Saturday Early Show.

Shirley says there's something for everyone on the family, in a variety of styles, materials and prices.

Family: Warm And Cozy

Flannel is warm and inexpensive, perfect for large families, says Shirley. Typically, the more expensive the flannel the heavier it is, but quality can be found at low price points, as well.

Couple: Sensible And Sexy

Staying warm doesn't have to mean wearing big bulky PJs that cover you from head to toe. If you want to be a little flirtatious, think layers. Shirley says you can show off some skin underneath a long robe, or show off your legs while your arms are covered. Also, slippers are key to staying warm.
