(CBS)  CBS News Sunday Morning Roadside, where some of the best American roadside stops are profiled, took a trip to one big picnic in Grant Park, Chicago, where the 23rd annual Taste of Chicago food festival satisfied many hungry pedestrians.

"It started out as a small event on Michigan Avenue and has really grown into this extravaganza," said Mary Slowick, the festival’s manager.

From pizza to pulled pork, the culinary concoctions at the event are the specialties of more than 60 Chicago chefs.

Festival attendees also feast on musical treats, like this year's performance by Grammy award winner Erykah Badu.

It was a day of tasting a little of everything at the 10-day Taste in Chicago event.
