(CBS)  A 42-minute police videotape shot during singer Diana Ross' arrest for investigation of drunken driving was released Friday night but without audio of her comments.

In the grainy color video made available to the media by police, Ross - dressed in jeans, a sweatshirt and white sneakers - was seen walking around and leaning on a police car as two officers explain procedures to her.

Ross' field sobriety tests were not part of the video, however.

A police report issued Dec. 31 - the day after the arrest - said the 58-year-old pop diva consented to a field sobriety test but fell down and laughed while trying to stand on one leg and count to 10.

In another test, the report said she skipped a couple of letters and doubled others when asked to write the alphabet.

Police have said Ross told them she was trying to rent a video and got lost in her rental car.

Police pulled Ross over after someone alerted them to a swerving vehicle, Tucson police Sgt. Judy Altieri Altieri said at the time. She added that the arresting officer said Ross was polite and cooperative.

Ross was arrested for investigation of driving under the influence, DUI, with a blood-alcohol level above Arizona's legal limit of 0.08 and extreme DUI, a charge that can carry greater penalties than a regular DUI.

A breath test showed she had a blood-alcohol reading of 0.20, police said.

Ross, who was staying at a Tucson residence at the time of her arrest, has pleaded not guilty to the DUI charge.

After arresting Ross, police gave her a ride to where she was staying, Altieri said.

Ross' attorneys and a city lawyer representing the Tucson Police Department agreed to conditions of the video release, which was requested by numerous media organizations. Her lawyers had objected previously to having the tape made public.

Ross entered a Malibu, Calif., drug and alcohol rehabilitation center in May to deal with what her Los Angeles-based publicist Paul Bloch has said were personal issues.
