Gorilla Is 40 And Fabulous
Willie B. Proves He Isn't Too Old To Be A Dad
with several families visiting the zoo.
The festivities included a specially designed birthday cake, cupcakes, music, and a round of Happy Birthday was sung by the crowd.
Willie B., who weighs 500 pounds, is the oldest known gorilla in captivity that is still fathering his offspring, reports CBS News Correspondent Cheryl Henderson of affiliate WGNX-TV in Atlanta.

The 40-year-old gorilla has five babies. In the past three years he has become one of the major offspring producers at the zoo.
Even at 40, Willie B. is ready to become a dad once again. He is expecting another baby in the fall of this year.
