Help For Suicidal Veterans

Last night CBS News reported on internal emails written by top officials at the Department of Veterans Affairs that appear to show how the VA tried to cover-up the true risk of suicide among our nation’s military veterans. However, veterans should know the VA does offer help.

Foreclosure Rescue Scammers Busted

Today the FBI and the Department of Justice indicted 19 people involved in a foreclosure scam that netted nearly $12 million from almost 120 homeowners from all over the country, primarily in California. It’s a type of scam that CBS Chief Investigative Correspondent Armen Keteyian first reported on last July.

VETS LAWSUIT MOVING FORWARD

A U.S. District judge announced yesterday that a class action lawsuit that would force the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) to end long wait times and provide better medical care and disability benefits for veterans can move forward and go to trial.
