Ron Paul "takes time out" from campaigning to put on a red sweater and wish everybody a Merry Christmas -- and, yes, he says Christmas -- in a TV ad.

Ron Paul is soliciting funds to get this low-budget ad on the air in Iowa and New Hampshire. Doctor Paul’s healthcare prescription: “Take power from big business and the bureaucrats, give it back to patients and the doctors they choose.”

“Remember, remember the Fifth of November!” That was the battle cry from Ron Paul supporters as they mounted an online fundraising blitz yesterday that garnered their man some $4.2 million from 37,000 donors in 24 hours. Here's one of the clips that made the rounds -- Paul's supporters have given the film V for Vendetta a second life.
