McCain Chats With Press on Final Flight of Campaign

(CBS)
From CBS News' John Bentley:

(ABOARD STRAIGHT TALK AIR) – On the final flight of John McCain’s campaign plane, McCain did something he has only done twice since he started flying on it last summer – he came back and talked to the press.

“We’ve spent a lot of time together, some have been together for almost two years,’ he said. “We’ve had a great time.”

McCain's Last-Minute Get-Out-The-Vote Effort

(CBS)
From CBS News' John Bentley:

(GRAND JUNCTION, COLO.) – At the last rally of his presidential campaign, John McCain said he could feel the momentum shifting in his direction in Colorado, but that his supporters still needed to help get out the vote.

McCain Deviates From His Standard Election Day Routine

(CBS)
From CBS News' John Bentley:

(PHOENIX) – John McCain has always had superstitions about Election Day. He likes to go see a movie, because, he has said, he doesn’t think he can do much more campaigning than he’s already done.

He also doesn’t like to campaign on Election Day, a holdover from an earlier era of politics when politicians seldom held any events on the day voters went to the polls.

McCain will break both of those self-imposed rules today.

McCain Confident As He Pushes Pennsylvania Victory Plan

(CBS)
From CBS News' John Bentley:

(MOON TOWNSHIP, PA.) – Eight hours in to his 20-hour day on the campaign trail, a confident John McCain has already predicted victories in the battleground states of Florida and Pennsylvania, even though the polls in both of those states are leaning towards Barack Obama.

“We’re going to win Pennsylvania tomorrow and I’m going to be the President of the United States,” McCain said. “Pennsylvania will do it, and Pittsburgh will be the important area.”

Long Day for McCain in Final 24 Hours

(CBS)

From CBS News’ John Bentley:

(MIAMI) – Seven rallies in seven states. That’s the plan for John McCain today as he tries to cover as much ground as possible in the final 24 hours before Election Day, kicking it off with a Florida rally in Tampa. That’s followed by trips to Blountville, Tennessee (conveniently sandwiched between the two battleground states of North Carolina and Virginia), Moon Township, Pennsylvania (outside Pittsburgh), Indianapolis, Roswell, New Mexico, Henderson, Nevada, and a final stop in the place where he has traditionally held his last political event of his campaigns, Prescott, Arizona.

McCain on Election Day Fraud, and The Voting Preferences of Mickey Mouse

(CBS)

From CBS News’ John Bentley:

(PETERBOROUGH, N.H.) – John McCain has held over a hundred town halls during this election season, and he widely credits them for keeping his campaign afloat during the primaries. Tonight he held his final town hall meeting of the campaign, where the first question was about the integrity of Election Day on Tuesday.

“I’m concerned about many of the allegations that we are hearing through the media, particularly in some of the battleground states. And the activities, quite frankly, of ACORN and other organizations,” McCain said.
