(DUBLIN, OHIO) Obama surrogate, Sen. Sherrod Brown, D-Ohio, subtly referenced John McCain’s age tonight as he questioned his judgment for choosing Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin as a running mate.

“John McCain chose someone who was a mayor of a town of 7,000 people, then was elected... Governor of a state that’s half the population of Franklin County,” Brown said when introducing Obama at the “Road to Change” rally.

“And yet she’s gonna be a heartbeat away from the president. No way, no way is right!”
