Zawahiri To Obama: "You Are Not Welcome in Egypt"

(As Sahab)
Al Qaeda No. 2, Ayman Zawahiri said in a new audiotape today that President Obama is not welcome in Egypt. Commenting on Obama's upcoming visit to Cairo, Zawahiri said that President Obama's message to the Muslim World has already been delivered. "Obama's message to the Muslim World was delivered when he visited the Wailing wall, with the Jewish skullcap on his head…when he performed the Jewish prayers despite claiming that he is Christian," Zawahiri said, reminding his audience of Obama's pledge before the AIPAC conference to make Jerusalem the undivided capital of Israel.

Jihadi Supporters Hail Egyptian Swinophobia, Hope It Ignites Religious Tensions

( )
Several jihadi websites are propagating this secretly-filmed video clip showing the Egyptian health authorities carrying out a mass pig cull, in response to the global H1N1 outbreak.

The pigs belong to the Coptic Christian minority and Jihadists hope that this drastic move by the Egyptian authorities, which infuriated French animal rights activist and former actress Brigitte Bardot, would reignite religious tensions between Muslims and Christians in the country.

Egypt’s Al Jamaa al Islamiya Urges Al Qaeda To Open Dialogue With Obama

The Egyptian Islamist group al Jamaa al Islamiyya urged al Qaeda to put aside the group’s long-standing differences with the United States and make good use of President Obama’s efforts to begin a new era that would bring back the values of justice, tolerance, and would give people back their rights. The group called on al Qaeda to open dialogue channels with the U.S. President, who according to the statement, could be “today’s friend.”

The group also said it looked forward to Obama’s visit to Egypt, and hailed the efforts he undertook in the first 100 days of his presidency. “We value the efforts he exerted in the past 100 days, to end this false "clashes of civilizations" saga that President Bush has created for no reason and which harmed the United States more than any other parties.”

The group also invited President Obama to learn more about the group’s experience in Egypt and about the recent ideological revisions adopted by its leadership. The statement also urged President Obama to release the group’s spiritual leader, Omar Abdel Rahman, a blind cleric serving a life sentence for his role in the 1993 World Trade Centre bombing.

Online Jihadist Proposes Plan To Attack Eilat From Jordan , Egypt or Saudi

( )
A member of a militant Islamist Internet forum proposed a plan to launch a missile attack on the Israeli port of Eilat from nearby Arab lands. The posting on the Mojahideen website drew attention to the fact that Eilat was trapped between the cities of Haql in Saudi Arabia (25 km), Taba in Egypt (5 km) and Aqaba in Jordan (5km). “So why not look into striking it from all three or maybe just two fronts?” exclaimed the member who calls himself “Mowaten Mqhur.”

Mqhur included a still picture showing what he claimed is a U.S. warship docked at the port of Eilat, with the Jordanian port of Aqaba showing in the background. He also included a map indicating the position of all three cities with respect to Eilat.

“Praise to God, rockets are very easy to make, so why not prepare for a well-planned strategic operation using short-range rockets with chemical or biological agents?” he added the blogger.

Internet Jihadist Suggest Plot To Attack Sharm El Sheikh Conference

(Al Faloja Website)
A senior member of Al Falojah militant Islamist Internet forums posted a message in which he approached the leader of al Qaeda in the Arab Peninsula with a plan to attack the Gaza reconstruction conference taking place in Sharm El Sheikh, Egypt today.

The member, who used the name “Saber,” pointed out that the place, just 8 miles from the Saudi town of Ras Hemeid, will be packed with heads of states and other dignitaries, and could easily be targeted with Katyusha rockets or even mortars.

“Even if you don’t hit your targets, you know quite well what could happen if one of those rockets fell outside the conference hall,” Saber told Nasser al Weheishy, the group’s leader. “If Ban Ki-Moon has bowed for the mortars fired by the hero mujaheddin in Iraq , hundreds will be bowing for your rockets God willing,” he added.

“Saber” included some maps and a picture of Sharm el Sheikh taken from Saudi Arabia, showing the proximity of the resort town to the Saudi shores. He concluded by saying that if this was a bit of a short notice, the militant of al Qaeda in the Arab Peninsula will have plenty other opportunities to execute their plan provided they get their rockets ready.

Jamaa Islamiya Hopes Obama Would Release The Blind Sheikh

(al Jama’a al Islamiya )
The Egyptian group al Jama’a al Islamiya released an Internet statement expressing satisfaction at Barack Obama’s victory in the U.S. presidential election. The formerly militant group listed three reasons for welcoming Obama’s election. The group argued that electing a man reflects values that were deeply rooted in Islam. It also said Obama’s election puts an end to the “Bush era” and finally, it gives the group home that Obama might consider releasing Omar Abdel Rahman, the group’s spiritual leader who is now serving time in the U.S. for his involvement in the 1993 bombing of the World Trade Center.
