Bad Drivers Beware

How many times have you seen a close call on the roadway and wished you could do more than just shake your fist and shout some obscenities at the offending driver? (Without getting into any road rage.) Enter the internet. A slew of sites like platewire.com and lacantdrive.com allow people to post accounts, photos and even video of their harrowing encounters. There are also ones for people who can't seem to stay within the lines of a parking stall or cyclists who use helmetcams to show how they survive any near collisions. Call it: cyber-shaming. We'll examine the trend on Tuesday's Early Show.

Lasers, The 'God' Particle, And An Announcement

Most everyone in tech agrees: lasers are cool. These days a red laser pen is sort of 2003. A green laser pen is very 2007. ThinkGeek has blue laser pens for 2008 costing about $900 each. But what would you pay for a laser that when turned on -- even for a fraction of a second -- is 2,000 times more powerful than all the power plants in the U.S.? Does $7 million seem reasonable? Cyber Bullies

A new survey released today by Teenage Research Unlimited finds an alarming number of teens in dating relationships are being harrassed through technology. Threatening text messages, cell phone calls or abusive Web sites or e-mail. There’s also a disturbing connection between bullying and technology with so-called cyberbullying among kids. Many parents may not even be aware of these teenage tactics, and our piece about this important subject will be airing tonight on the CBS Evening News with Katie Couric.
