NEW YORK - Diane Schuler, the suburban New York mother who died in a wrong-way crash that killed three other adults and four children in July, was seen twice doubled over on the side of the road, "getting sick," witnesses told state police investigators in documents released to CBS affiliate WCBS.

Police told WCBS that this information supports a new theory of the fateful night -- that Schuler, who smoked marijuana regularly according to her sister-in-law, but did not drink often, was overcome by the 10 shots of vodka she drank during her deadly drive.

NEW YORK - Two families who lost loved ones in the horrific wrong-way crash on New York's Taconic Parkway July 26 aim to hold a gathering to share their common grief, according to the New York Daily News.

The Hance family lost their three young daughters when Warren Hance's sister, Diane Schuler, 36, crashed her minivan into Michael and Guy Bastardi's SUV while driving the wrong way on the Taconic Parkway.

GARDEN CITY, N.Y - Daniel Schuler, the husband of a Long Island mother who killed eight while driving drunk and high, once had his own problems with drinking and driving.

While driving from one bar to another on October 14, 1995, Daniel was pulled over by Nassau County Police, according to the paper.
