SACRAMENTO, Calif. - A 25-year-old man who allegedly solicited a 14-year-old girl for sex is under arrest after the girl's family got involved and took the law into their own hands, according to authorities.

The Sacramento Police Department says that Christopher Guzman went to Garcia Bend Park on Monday night, believing that he was meeting up with a 14-year-old girl he had met on a social networking website.

TEXARKANA, Ark. - Tony Alamo, a one-time street preacher who built a multimillion-dollar ministry and became an outfitter of the stars, was convicted Friday of taking girls as young as 9 across state lines for sex.

Alamo stood silently as the verdict was read, a contrast to his occasional mutterings during testimony. His five victims, now ages 17 to 33, sat looking forward in the gallery. One, a woman he "married" at age 8, wiped away a tear.

TEXARKANA, Ark. - In the years after evangelist Tony Alamo took a 14-year-old girl as a bride, the girl said she caught glimpses of her father on the surveillance cameras that fed into the minister's office.

As her father walked by outside, monitors provided views from every angle. But even though only a few walls and doors separated them, leaving Alamo's home without permission was unthinkable.

TEXARKANA, Ark. (AP) Evangelist Tony Alamo preyed on his loyal followers' young daughters, once taking a girl as young as 8 as his bride and repeatedly sexually assaulting her, a federal prosecutor said Tuesday.

Assistant U.S. Attorney Clay Fowlkes said that girl's story and others unwound an “elaborate facade” Alamo wove around himself.
