Mike Tyson Arrested in Airport Scuffle: Accusations Flying Faster Than Fists

LOS ANGELES (CBS/AP) Embattled ex-boxing champion Mike Tyson has a fresh legal fight on his hands.

California police are investigating conflicting accounts of an airport confrontation between the former heavyweight champ and photographer Tony Echevarria, in which the shutterbug says he was attacked and Tyson claims he was protecting his family.

The scuffle resulted in both men being booked and released on suspicion of misdemeanor battery, with both wanting to press charges, police said.

Grumpy Old Men: Fistfight Caught on Tape

NEW YORK - Down guys! It's just a sidewalk!

Two Florida men were arrested last week after they got into a fist fight at a St. Petersburg Florida City Council meeting.

Council members were discussing, of all things, whether or not to privatize a city sidewalk outside a local shopping plaza. That is when the men, one of whom is a councilman's brother, began yelling at each other.

Rosangel Cabrera 911 Call: Miguel Cabrera Wife in Tears After "Fight"

DETROIT - Police in suburban Detroit said Detroit Tigers slugger Miguel Cabrera and his wife Rosangel Cabrera got into a "physical altercation" after the player came home drunk early Saturday Morning, according to Fox Station WJBK. Rosangel Cabrera called 911 in tears at 6 a.m. Saturday. The following is the transcript of the 911 call.

DETROIT - Police in suburban Detroit say Miguel Cabrera and wife Rosangel Cabrera got into a fight at their home over the weekend after the Tigers slugger came home drunk around 5 a.m. Both had marks on their faces that have been alternately described as bruises or cuts.

Dog Fighting at Daycare Center: Did the Children See?

CHICAGO RIDGE, Ill. - Blood spattered the garage of a home day care that was also the base of an alleged dog fighting ring, authorities said Wednesday, describing battered and malnourished dogs and the devices used to train them found not far from where children played.

Three men were charged Wednesday, including the day care operator's husband, and authorities were seeking two others. Authorities had initially said four people had been arrested.

NEW YORK - There must be something in the water.

Yet another brave New York store clerk managed to thwart a gun-toting robber during a caught-on-tape wrestling match that would even impress The Rock.

The courageous 21 year-old employee took two bullets to his left leg during the bitter struggle, but managed to rip the firearm out of the fleeing crook’s hands.

Guilty Verdict in "Fight Club" Scandal Exploiting Disabled

CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas - Prosecutors say fights between disabled residents of a state-run facility were staged by employees for "entertainment." The jury, clearly not amused, convicted one man Thursday for injuring some of Texas' most vulnerable residents in the orchestrated bouts.

Jesse Salazar, 25, was one of six former employees at the Corpus Christi State School charged in an abuse scandal that police described as a "fight club."
