Katt Williams Goes to Jail, But Doesn't Stay Long

ATLANTA - "Pimp" comedian Katt Williams hasn't had it easy the lately.

Last Tuesday, Williams was accused of kidnapping a teen after a 911 call. On Sunday, he was thrown in jail on suspicions he had burglarized a suburban Atlanta mansion where he is staying while filming a movie.

But things have turned around for the controversial comic.

Comedian Katt Williams Says He Was Arrested While Making a Movie About President Barack Obama

ATLANTA - Comedian and rapper Katt Williams was released on bond Monday night after he was arrested for breaking into a home and stealing thousands of dollars worth of jewelry and coins.

Williams said he was staying in suburban Atlanta while filming a movie about President Barack Obama.

As Williams emerged from the county jail, he called the alleged burglary "a misunderstanding between me and two stupid detectives."

"Pimp" Comedian Katt Williams Arrested for Burglary and Trespassing

ATLANTA - Comedian and rapper Katt Williams was jailed in suburban Atlanta on Monday after police said they arrested the entertainer for breaking into a home.

Williams, who police say is 38, is charged with burglary and criminal trespassing, according to Coweta County Sheriff's Office Major James Yarbrough.

Dane Cook's Half Brother Charged with Stealing $11M from Comedian

WOBURN, Massachusetts - Dane Cook's half brother has been indicted on additional charges he stole more than $11 million from the comedian, prosecutors said Monday.

Darryl McCauley, 43, allegedly wrote company checks to himself and transferred funds into his personal bank accounts while being paid $12,500 a month to serve as business manager for Cook's company, Great Dane Enterprises.

Dane Cook's In-Law Accused Of Stealing His Millions

WOBURN, Mass. (AP) Dane Cook's sister-in-law has pleaded not guilty to charges she helped her husband steal millions of dollars from the comedian.

Erika McCauley was arraigned Thursday and ordered held on $1 million bail.

Darryl McCauley, Cook's half brother and McCauley's husband, pleaded not guilty in March to larceny and forgery.
