TUSCUMBIA, Ala. - Police in Tuscumbia, Ala., are on the lookout for a noseless robber after a man got the tip of his nose bitten off, they say, while stealing around $100 in cash from a home.

Police said a man armed with a knife and small screwdriver entered a private home about 11:30 a.m. Monday in this small town 2 1/2 hours north west of Birgmingham. He fought with two men inside, police say, and one of them bit off the tip of his nose during the struggle.

ATLANTA - Comedian and rapper Katt Williams was released on bond Monday night after he was arrested for breaking into a home and stealing thousands of dollars worth of jewelry and coins.

Williams said he was staying in suburban Atlanta while filming a movie about President Barack Obama.

As Williams emerged from the county jail, he called the alleged burglary "a misunderstanding between me and two stupid detectives."

ATLANTA - Comedian and rapper Katt Williams was jailed in suburban Atlanta on Monday after police said they arrested the entertainer for breaking into a home.

Williams, who police say is 38, is charged with burglary and criminal trespassing, according to Coweta County Sheriff's Office Major James Yarbrough.

NEW YORK - Will this become the age of the stay-at-home celebrity?

A table filled with $2 million in stolen jewelry from stars' homes represented just a fraction of the celebrity property pilfered by a group of Hollywood-obsessed teens over the past year, Los Angeles police told reporters Wednesday.

The display was part of a show-and-tell of burglarized celebrity bling taken from the homes of stars including Lindsay Lohan and Paris Hilton.

FRIDAY HARBOR, Wash. - He is the 6-foot-5 teenager that is embarrassing police by finding new ways to continue his 18-month string of northwest Washington burglaries.

Now new documents say DNA found after a grocery store break-in on Orcas Island last month matches that of the Colton Harris-Moore, 18, who is also known as the "Barefoot Burglar."

EASTSOUND, Wash. - It is a scene straight out of the movie "Catch Me If You Can."

In the darkness of this sleepy island town, the beam of a deputy's flashlight caught the back of a lanky teenager wanted in a notorious 18-month burglary spree.

The teen glanced over his shoulder, and then vanished into the woods. "He virtually vaporized in front of me," deputy Jeff Patterson recalled.

LOS ANGELES - Can't Lindsay Lohan catch a break?

The scandal-ridden movie star, who has dealth with revealing photos and substance abuse, is now dealing with the aftermath of a residential break-in.

Los Angeles police officer Rosario Herrera says detectives arrested 18-year-old Nicholas Prugo on Thursday morning on suspicion of felony burglary. Prugo is being held on $20,000 bail.

Ohio police say a suspect in a robbery was arrested when he returned to the home about two hours later to ask the victim out on a date.

Police say 20-year-old Stephfon Bennett was among three men who robbed a couple late Sunday.

The Whitaker family of four was gunned down in their own home in what at first looked like a burglary gone wrong. Sugar Land police had Bart Whitaker, who survived a shot in the arm, walk them through what happened the night his father was wounded and his mother, Trisha, and brother, Kevin, were killed.
