ATLANTA - "Pimp" comedian Katt Williams hasn't had it easy the lately.

Last Tuesday, Williams was accused of kidnapping a teen after a 911 call. On Sunday, he was thrown in jail on suspicions he had burglarized a suburban Atlanta mansion where he is staying while filming a movie.

But things have turned around for the controversial comic.

NEW YORK - Kandi Burruss' on-again off-again fiancé Ashley "A.J." Jewell started the fight that led to his death Friday night, a defense attorney for his accused killer told the Atlanta Journal-Constitution in court Tuesday.

Jewell, who was engaged to "Real Housewives of Atlanta" star and Grammy-winning songwriter Kandi Burruss, got into a fight Oct. 2, with Frederick Richardson outside of Body Tap, an Atlanta strip club where the two worked.

NEW YORK - The fight that police believe led to Ashley "A.J." Jewell's death may have started because Jewell didn't think he was getting enough respect at the strip club where he worked, authorities say.

Jewell, who was the on-again-off-again fiancé to Kandi Burruss, a cast member from Bravo's "The Real Housewives of Atlanta," died Friday, Oct. 2 after sustaining head injuries in a brawl, Atlanta police said.

ATLANTA - How could four individuals, two of them captors and one of them an abducted little girl, come to live together as a family unit for eighteen years? If police have it right, not only did Phillip Garrido, Nancy Garrido, Jaycee Lee Dugard and Garrido's mother live as a family unit, but Phillip Garrido and Jaycee Lee Dugard also had two daughters together (now 11 and 15 years old).

ATLANTA - Vernon Forrest made his living with his fists, but his true calling, friends say, was helping children and others with disabilities, treating them like members of his family.

The 38-year-old former two-division champion, who gained stardom when he became the first boxer to defeat Shane Mosley, was shot to death Saturday night in what police are calling an attempted robbery in Atlanta. Police Sgt. Lisa Keyes said in an e-mail Sunday that Forrest was shot several times in the back on a street just southwest of downtown and that there were no suspects.

ORLANDO, Fla. (CBS/AP) - The trial of Casey Anthony, the Florida mother charged with killing her young daughter has been delayed.

Casey Anthony has been charged with first degree murder for the killing of her 2-year-old daughter, Caylee Anthony. She has pleaded not guilty and says a baby sitter kidnapped her toddler. She could be sentenced to death if convicted.
