Billy Bob Thornton's Daughter Stays in Jail for Baby's Death

OCOEE, Fla. The estranged daughter of actor Billy Bob Thornton charged in the death of a 1-year-old girl she was baby sitting in central Florida will remain in jail for now.

A judge ruled Wednesday that 29-year-old Amanda Brumfield will not be released until the medical examiner can testify about evidence heard during her pretrial hearing.

Billy Bob Thornton's Daughter Indicted For Murder

OCOEE, Florida The estranged daughter of actor Billy Bob Thornton has been indicted on several charges in the death of a 1-year-old girl she was babysitting in central Florida.

Amanda Brumfield, 29, was booked at the Orange County Jail on Wednesday. She faces charges of first-degree murder, aggravated child abuse and aggravated manslaughter of a child.
