Police Chase 7-Year-Old Driver

WEBER COUNTY, UTAH - As far as police dash-cam videos go, the situation that unfolded in Weber County, Utah seemed straightforward enough. A white sedan refused to pull over and its driver led police on a chase throughout the county that ended with the driver jumping out of the car.

But when the car door opened, police were shocked to see a 7-year-old boy jump out of the driver's seat and take off running.

911 Call: "One of the Judges Has Been Shot"

Reno, Nevada - June 12, 2006 - When Judge Chuck Weller was shot in his chambers through a window in the Reno family courthouse, police and SWAT teams blanketed a 10-block area. Minutes later, they zeroed in on the location of the shooter in a parking garage across the street.

"Woodstock on Steroids," Cops Bust Church of Love and Music

MOUNT PLEASANT, Pa. - A Fayette County church is in trouble for allegedly combining faith and music with massive amounts of drugs.

Authorities in southwestern Pennsylvania arrested 21 people and seized large amounts of drugs and paraphernalia at a concert held by a non-denominational Christian church that says its music events are religious services.

Boxing Champ Aturo Gatti's Death Ruled Suicide

RIO DE JANEIRO - A Brazilian police investigation has determined that the death of boxer Arturo Gatti was a suicide and a court has ordered the release of his wife, who was once suspected of killing him.

Lead investigator Paulo Alberes told The Associated Press on Thursday that police concluded Gatti killed himself on July 11 in a seaside resort in northeastern Brazil.

Taste the Rainbow: Oxycontin, Coke Found in Skittles

TAMPA, Fla. - A 4-year-old Tampa girl ate a bag of Skittles and got a little more than just a sugar high.

The Skittles were tainted with the high-powered pain reliever Oxycontin.

The girl was with her grandparents, driving home Monday from Tampa International Airport, when she became lethargic. They took her to a hospital where she was treated and later released.

Paper: NFL Giant Antonio Pierce May Face Gun Charge

NEW YORK - New York Giants star linebacker Antonio Pierce may face a gun possession indictment. His fate rests with a New York grand jury, according to the New York Post.

The threat of an indictment endangers Pierce's status for the upcoming NFL season. Pierce, a pro-bowler who led the Giant's defense to a Super Bowl victory in 2008, is a key component to any chance the team may have of returning to the championships.
