RICHMOND, Calif. - Prosecutors say at least six young men, some not even old enough to drive, raped and beat a 15-year-old girl outside Richmond High School in California while others watched, laughed, and took cell phone pictures.
Now, the six defendants, ranging in age from 15 to 21, have pleaded not guilty to the charges against them. They entered their pleas to rape and other charges Tuesday morning in Contra Costa County Superior Court.

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. - Paul Michael Merhige sat through three hours of Thanksgiving Day dinner and sing-a-longs around the piano, plotting the moment he would fatally shoot four relatives, his cousin-in-law said Tuesday.

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. - The police officer in a small Arkansas town who fired a Taser gun on an unruly 10-year-old girl has been fired for violating department policy.
Officer Dustin Bradshaw was not terminated for using the stun gun itself, but for failing to use the camera attached to it, according to officials.

NEW YORK - Rachel Uchitel has been adamant that she is not having an affair with Tiger Woods, the golf great whose strange Nov. 27 car accident still remains a mystery despite an ongoing and frustrated police investigation.
But the 34-year-old New York nightclub hostess' love life has been in the spotlight before, for radically different reasons.
Uchitel first gained attention in the wake of September 11, when she lost her fiancé, Andy O'Grady, in the South Tower of the World Trade Center.
Her grief stricken photo appeared in the New York Post as she clutched her fiancé's picture.
CBS affiliate WCBS-TV spoke with her a year after the 9/11 attacks at Ground Zero.
"When I think of Andy I no longer cry. I smile and I laugh. I'm at that point now. I can go on everyday knowing that somebody like him chose me to love," Uchitel told the New York station.
