Ghost statues
Ghost statues by artist Jakub Hadrava on display at St. George's church Nov. 16, 2014 in Lukova, Czech Republic. Hadrava created 32 life-size plaster ghost statues to symbolize the Sudeten Germans who lived in the village during the Middle Ages. Hadrava's aim is to make the church more attractive for visitors and raise money for renovation work.

Crater
Expedition members explore a newly formed crater on the Yamal Peninsula, northern Siberia, Nov. 8, 2014. Researchers from the Russian Centre of Arctic Exploration descended about 52 feet to the crater's base, reaching the surface of a lake that's at least 32 feet deep.

Spacecraft
The Soyuz TMA-15M spacecraft is set on its launch pad at the Baikonur cosmodrome in Kazakhstan Nov. 21, 2014. The Soyuz is scheduled to blast off for the International Space Station on Nov. 24, carrying Anton Shkaplerov of Russia, Terry Virts of the U.S. and Samantha Cristoforetti of Italy.

Push Forward project
