Here are some of the ingredients chef Tori Ritchie suggests using when you prepare your turkey. Ritchie and The Early Show co-anchor Hannah Storm co-host "The Perfect Thanksgiving" series, produced in conjunction with specialty home furnishings retailer Williams-Sonoma.
The raw bird
Ritchie suggests a rule-of-thumb of a pound-and-a-half of turkey per person when ordering your turkey. Also shown here: a digital thermometer, metal baster, and onions to be put in the turkey.

Can't forget the gravy!
Ritchie mixes the ingredients for the perfect gravy. She starts by pouring drippings from the turkey into a separator, pours the fat-free liquid into a pan, stirs in turkey stock, melted butter, flour, and herbs as the gravy cooks, and adds salt and pepper to the mix.
The finished product
A gorgeous, tantalizing, delectable turkey, with cranberry sauce, in an exquisite setting.
