U.S. soldier in Afghanistan watched wife sexually abuse teen girl via Skype, police say

(CBS/AP) LERAY, N.Y. - An Army soldier based at Fort Drum has been arrested after he allegedly watched over the Internet as his wife sexually abused a teenage girl in their upstate New York home.

New York police said 22-year-old Shawn Raymo was in Afghanistan in July 2011 when he watched via Skype as his wife, 21-year-old Jessica Raymo, engaged in sex acts with a 15-year-old girl at Fort Drum, the 10th Mountain Division's post just outside Watertown.

The couple was arrested Tuesday on felony charges of using a child younger than 17 in a sexual performance, and misdemeanor endangering the welfare of a child. State troopers say they're being held in jail after being arraigned in the Leray town court.
