Two dead in shooting at Houston hospital pharmacy

HOUSTON - Police say a man fatally shot a woman in the pharmacy of a Houston hospital before turning the gun on himself.

CBS affiliate KHOU reports the alleged murder-suicide happened about 2:15 p.m. in Ben Taub Hospital's outpatient pharmacy.

Police say a pharmacist and pharmacy tech died.

Investigators haven't released the shooter's identity.

Witnesses told KHOU the tech appeared agitated, and then they heard multiple gunshots. About a dozen people were in the pharmacy at the time, but no one else was hurt.

The hospital was put on lockdown and patients were told to lock their doors, according to people inside the hospital. The lockdown was later lifted.
