"The Elder Scrolls Online" beta opens, trailer electrifies
Bethesda Softworks is now taking applications for the beta release of "The Elder Scrolls Online" -- a massively
mulitiplayer role-playing game (MMORPG) that will incorporate all of the classic elements of the blockbuster franchise.
"The Elder Scrolls" franchise includes blockbuster games like "The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion" and "The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim." This game will mark the first time "The Elder Scrolls" will be ported to a massive online world. MMORPGs are typically role-playing games that takes place online in a virtual world that is populated by multiple players.
Bethesda also released the trailer for "The Elder Scrolls Online," which is an electrifying, action-packed battle in the world of Tamriel -- the main setting of the game. Fans can expect to see stunning vistas, adrenalin-filled combat and orcs, of course.
