A cast member from MTV's now-defunct "Jersey Shore" series has taken ill.

Ronnie Ortiz-Magro was admitted to a Fla. hospital late Saturday night for treatment of kidney stones, his rep told People.

"He's in a lot of pain and is expected to remain there for several days," the rep added.

On Sunday, the 27-year-old reality TV star took to Twitter to share his pain with his fans:

His longtime girlfriend and "Jersey Shore" co-star, Sammi "Sweetheart" Giancola, has been at his side through his hospital ordeal.

Ortiz-Magro was in Miami to promote his line of Smush Cocktails, a brand of low-calorie alcoholic beverages.
