(CBS News) Correspondent Serena Altschul offers her own Lime Yogurt recipe, which gives a delicious, smooth and zesty zip to any meal. Great as a dip for potato chips or in a baked potato, amazing on rice, and perfect for meats, chicken and fish.
She says she calls it "Maria's Lime Yogurt Dip" because her friend Maria "loves it so much."
Serena's Recipe for Maria's Lime Yogurt
Preparation time: 5 mins.
17 oz. Greek Yogurt (or Siggi's)
Zest of 1 lime
Juice of 1 large lime or more
Salt to taste (2-3 pinches)
Fresh Ground Pepper
Tablespoon or more of Olive Oil
Mix together yogurt, lime zest and lime juice until well blended, adding salt and pepper to taste.
Drizzle olive oil on top or mix in.
