COVINGTON, Ky. (CBS/WKRC/AP) Police searching for 17-year-old northern Kentucky girl Paige Johnson are seeking search warrants for the Facebook and MySpace accounts of the young mother and the man with whom she was last seen.

Investigators hope messages sent via the sites will help them find Paige, who was reported missing Sept. 23 and is the mother of a 2-year-old girl, according to CBS affiliate WKRC.

Police say she was last seen with 22-year-old Taylor Mill, Ky. resident Jacob Bumpass.

Covington police Det. Gwen Kelley wrote in an affidavit to obtain the warrants that she thinks the accounts contain information that "a criminal offense has occurred."

He also stated that Bumpass has not cooperated with investigators.

Covington police have refused to call Bumpass a suspect, or even a person of interest in the case. He is being held in the Kenton County Jail on parole violations.

Phone records obtained from Bumpass and Johnson reveal ongoing communication between the two prior to Sept. 23, but no contact after that date, according to the affidavit.

WKRC reports that the phone records led to several searches last month of the 10,000-acre East Fork State Park in Clermont County, Ohio, but investigators didn't find anything. The search concentrated on the park because a text message from Bumpass' phone was sent from the area about 4:18 a.m. the morning Johnson was reported missing.

Bumpass was arrested Oct. 4 for possession of deadly weapons, drinking alcohol, smoking marijuana and lying to his parole officers about where he worked.

Anyone with information about Paige Johnson is urged to call the Covington Police Department at 859-292-2222 or The National Center for Missing and Exploited Children at 800-843-5678.
