New video in car accident that killed Paul Walker

New video taken by a surveillance camera not far from the accident site could shed light on the car crash that killed actor Paul Walker and a friend this past weekend. Police do not believe they were racing another car and autopsy results could be released today.

At the scene of the accident, the memorial to Walker and his friend Roger Rodas continues to grow and the fans got an unexpected visit from Walker's frequent co-star, Vin Diesel. The actor was not just Walker’s co-star in the “Fast and Furious” movies, he was his friend.

“Thank you for coming down here and showing that angel up in heaven how much you appreciate him. Thank you,” Diesel told the crowd.

Diesel was joined by others who were close to the late star when the studio behind the film franchise cleared and tented the memorial area to allow family and crew members to mourn in private.

The makeshift memorial has grown steadily since Saturday's crash.

“His family is absolutely broken-hearted right now and we just remember what a good heart he had,” said Walker’s half-sister Amy Katz.

Walker is survived by a 15-year-old daughter, Meadow.

“When she [Meadow] found out, of course she's going to act like any other child. She was gone. So was his girlfriend, they both were devastated. I think they were in shock, they were screaming,” said Walker’s friend Jim Torp.

Surveillance video obtained by "OMG! Insider" captured the crash. First, there was a cloud of smoke and then five seconds later a fireball from an apparent explosion. The Porsche Carrera GT carrying Walker and Rodas hit a pole and burst into flames. The aftermath was captured by cell phone video.

The two had been at a charity event Saturday afternoon and left together in the Porsche.

“We know that Roger was driving the car when they pulled out, but being gone for 20 minutes, Paul could have said, ‘Hey, can I drive the car? Let me drive the car,’” said Torp. “So we don't know if they got out of the car and switched.”

Official word on who was driving and even formal identification of the victims are still pending as the coroner's office waits for dental records of the badly burned victims. The sheriff's office will only say that the car involved was traveling alone at a high rate of speed.

Walker had bragged about driving very fast on public roads in a GT Channel interview.  He told them that the fastest he had ever gone was 184-186 miles per hour on the freeway.

There are many theories as to what might have caused the crash and everything from leaking car fluids to a blown tire has been speculated.
