(CBS) - Of all the accents and regional dialects there are in the English language, the Jamaican patois has to be one of the best. The colorful Caribbean island is home to a wonderfully distinct dialect that is lyrical, jolly and just fun to listen to. The gentleman in this video has just such an accent. He also happens to be white. That's something you don't see every day.
You don't have to be black (or even Jamaican) to enjoy some lamb curry on rice. But coming from an island that is roughly 91% black, it's nice to see that even though color is skin deep, being Jamaican is in the heart.
