Morgan Freeman supports marijuana legalization: "I'll eat it, drink it, smoke it, snort it!"

Morgan Freeman throws his support behind marijuana legalization in a new interview with The Daily Beast in which he says "I'll eat it, drink it, smoke it, snort it!"

Well, tell us how you really feel about the subject, why don't you?

The 77-year-old actor does just that, providing some background about his experience with pot and the reasons he thinks it should be legal.

"They used to say, 'You smoke that stuff, boy, you get hooked!" Morgan said. "My first wife got me into it many years ago. How do I take it? However it comes! I'll eat it, drink it, smoke it, snort it! This movement is really a long time coming, and it's getting legs -- longer legs. Now, the thrust is understanding that alcohol has no real medicinal use."

He also elaborated on the various uses of marijuana and how it's benefited him in his own life: "I have fibromyalgia pain in this arm, and the only thing that offers any relief is marijuana. They're talking about kids who have grand mal seizures, and they've discovered that marijuana eases that down to where these children can have a life. That right there, to me, says, 'Legalize it across the board!'"

The Oscar winner stars in the new movie "5 Flights Up" with Diane Keaton and will be seen in "Ted 2" this summer.
