Miley Cyrus can't stop crying, explains health issue

Miley Cyrus continues to tweet from her hospital bed, noting that she can't stop crying. She's also trying to clear up reports about why she's there in the first place.

The 21-year-old pop star, who was hospitalized on Tuesday for a severe allergic reaction to antibiotics, has been forced to cancel two shows.

There have been various rumors going around Cyrus' condition, prompting her to tweet Thursday that there "are so many ignorant stories out there." TMZ had reported that the recent death of Cyrus' dog triggered her illness.

In an effort to put the issue to rest, Cyrus tweeted the official statement, which reads: "Miley was suffering from a sinus infection during her tour. She was prescribed the antibiotic Cephalexin which she's now suffered an extreme reaction to. This type of extreme reaction can last from five to 27 days in these types of cases."

"She will remain hospitalized and is under a doctor's care until we see improvement in her condition and is asking for your compassion and privacy at this time," the statement continued.

One thing is for sure, Cyrus is ready to get better and leave the hospital. She tweeted, "Can't quit crying i wanna go back on tour. im meant to be onstage performing for y'all.... not laying in a hospital bed."
