Mexico rattled by 6.0-magnitude earthquake

MEXICO CITY Mexico City and surrounding areas have been rattled by a 6.0-magnitude earthquake.

There have been no immediate reports of damages or injuries.

The U.S. Geological Survey said the 6.0 quake occurred around 3:20 a.m. local time (0420 EST).

The quake was centered about 105 miles south of the capital, at the border of the State of Mexico and the Pacific coast state of Guerrero.

Mexico's National Seismological Service estimated the magnitude at 6.4.
