NEW YORK (CBS) Lindsay Lohan's court-ordered alcohol monitoring bracelet was reportedly set off Sunday evening during an MTV Movie Awards after party.

A source close to the case told People magazine Tuesday that the bracelet, called a SCRAM device, was triggered during the event.

According to the report, it remains unclear whether alcohol was detected in Lohan's system or the device was tampered with. Either situation would alert the authorities.

She was ordered to wear the device after she didn't show up for a mandatory court hearing last month, and a warrant was issued for her arrest.

The actress could face jail time if the judge in her case decides that she violated the conditions of her bail, which included abstaining from alcohol.

Lohan's attorney, Shawn Chapman Holley, wasn't immediately available for comment, according to the report.

The source told People that Judge Martha Revel is expected to receive the SCRAM report soon and could order Lohan to appear for an immediate bail revocation hearing. She is also due in court for a probation violation hearing on July 6.
