On your mark! Get set! Go! That Christmas clock is ticking but if you move fast, you can take care of your stocking stuffers just in the St. Nick of time. The Saturday Early Show presents some very specific ideas from Real Simple's Gift Guide.

Every gift is under $50 (though this doesn't count express-delivery charges). They can all be ordered either online or by phone, so you don't have to set foot in a mall. (This is particularly important as you get this close to Christmas).

But the best thing about these presents is they aren't empty trinkets. Each carries a message of comfort or connection.

Here's the last-minute list:

  1. Motorola Talkabout Walkie-Talkies ($46.50) www.amazon.com:
Perfect for any age, these high-tech gadgets are not quite as advanced as cell phones; they're more like the modernized tin can and string. Perfect for keeping track of your kids, or for room-to-room fun at slumber parties, this gift will most importantly provide peace of mind all around-- something everyone will appreciate this year.
Must be ordered by 3 p.m. (ET) on Dec. 22.
