(CBS) Life wasn't always good for Jennifer Nicole Lee. Driven by a broken home and emotional eating, she was 80 pounds over weight.
But after a miscarriage rocked her world, she resolved to get strong, mentally and physically.
"It wasn't until I miscarried with my first pregnancy that I saw just how precious and delicate life was," she tells CBS News. "I knew that I had to get healthy, not only for me, but for my future family."
And she did just that.
Now, the happy mom of two young boys, Lee is a fitness champion who has graced the covers of Oxygen and Fitness and the couches of Oprah and our very own "Early Show."
She also has a new book in play, "The Fitness Model Diet."
How did she do it?
